Home remedies for dandruff and itchy scalp

  1.  Coconut Oil:

Coconut oil restores the scalp, reduces the presence of dandruff and bacteria, and relieves itching in the area. Its application also hydrates hair roots, promotes growth, and reduces dead cells. To benefit from this remedy, extract the juice of half a lemon and mix it with three tablespoons of coconut oil. Next, gently massage the product all over the scalp and leave it to act for 20 minutes. After this time, rinse your hair as usual and air dry, repeating the treatment up to three times a week for optimal results.

2. Aloe Vera:

Aloe vera, or aloe vera gel, has antibacterial and antifungal properties that significantly reduce the presence of fungi. In addition, it hydrates the hair and eliminates dead cells. It is one of the active compounds in a multitude of hair products because it not only mitigates dandruff but also hydrates, repairs, and eliminates itchy scalps. It is as simple as extracting two tablespoons of aloe vera gel, rubbing it all over your head with a gentle massage, and letting it sit for 20 minutes. Next, rinse with water and mild shampoo, and repeat every day or a couple of times a week.

3.  Baking soda:

Baking soda has multiple benefits for taking care of the health of your hair. Among them, it eliminates the fungi that produce dandruff and deeply cleanses the scalp to contribute to hair regeneration. You just have to prepare a paste with two tablespoons of baking soda, one tablespoon of lemon juice, and three tablespoons of water. Wet your hair and apply this combination with gentle circular massages. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse with cold water. Use it two or three times a week to eliminate dandruff, and you can also add a tablespoon of baking soda to your shampoo. Do not use more than one ingredient that we have shown you at a time since if you mix several, we could make the situation worse.

4.  Lemon juice:

5.  Olive oil:
